About GreenPack
GreenPack mobile energy solutions GmbH, based in Berlin, develops the standardized GreenPack swappable battery system: handy, exchangeable battery modules that can be used individually or in clusters in vehicles, devices and storage systems. The battery pack development covers cell selection, battery design, BMS integration and certification through to series production. Li-ion and LFP cells are used; GreenPack 1.0 delivers 1.4 kWh at 8.8 kg, the further-developed GreenPack 2.0 delivers 2.1 kWh at 12 kg with IP54 protection. Since 2020, ANSMANN AG, headquartered in Assamstadt, has been a licensee and takes over production, distribution and further development of the battery, while GreenPack GmbH focuses on the Swobbee swappable battery infrastructure. The system is used in e-cargo bikes, cargo bikes, micro electric vehicles for urban logistics, photovoltaic storage systems and devices for the maintenance of green and open spaces. Customers include, among others, Apator Control, Kicktrike, Carla Cargo, Radkutsche and VELOVE.
