About Greger

Greger GmbH is an Austrian company for mould making and plastic injection moulding based in Straßwalchen near Salzburg. Founded in 1986 as a family business, it processes thermoplastics and thermosets by injection moulding and produces around 6 million plastic parts per year. The value chain includes the design of surface and solid models on 3D CAD/CAM systems, in-house tool making with CNC and HSC milling machines as well as CNC sinker EDM machines for 3D injection moulds up to 1.5 × 1.5 m, robot-assisted injection moulding production on machines with clamping forces of 35 to 750 t, prototyping by 3D printing, Inmold Decoration (film insert moulding) and the completion of assemblies. Customers include household appliance manufacturers, the furniture industry, mechanical and plant engineering as well as companies from the electronics and automotive sectors. The company stores over 1,400 tools in fire-protected storage. In accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001, quality is assured in a dedicated QA office with 3D coordinate measurement, colour measurement and leak testing.

Quality

A QM system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001 monitors all work processes; in the QA office next to production, incoming and outgoing goods inspections, initial sample inspection reports and sampling are carried out. Inspection equipment includes an optical 3D coordinate measuring machine (Mitutoyo CRYSTA Plus), a PCE-TCR 200 colour measuring device (CIE-Lab, RGB, ΔE) and a leak testing system integrated into production.
