About griwecolor
Founded in 1996 by Jörg Grieshaber and Franz Wehinger in the Black Forest, griwecolor GmbH develops and produces low-emission, water-based paints and coatings. The portfolio includes sound deadening coatings (griwephon) for rail vehicles and construction, industry services such as anti-adherent, strippable and barrier gel coatings for paint booths and systems, PU underbody protection for vehicle manufacturing, interior and exterior dispersion paints, primers, marking paints as well as plant fortifiers and creative products. The products are manufactured almost solvent-free from environmentally friendly raw materials and applied by roller, spray or airless. In addition, the company offers colour consulting, custom developments and problem solutions for critical surfaces as well as research projects, e.g. on antimicrobial wall paint in cooperation with renowned institutes such as the Fraunhofer Society. The second-generation family business produces at its headquarters in Döggingen (Bräunlingen) with an automated production line featuring stainless steel production tanks and a filling station.

Founding of griwecolor Farben und Beschichtungen GmbH by Jörg Grieshaber and Franz Wehinger at the Donaueschingen district court.
- 1996/97
Construction of a new industrial hall as company headquarters in the Wieselbrunnen industrial estate in Döggingen.

Expansion of storage capacity through a canopied outdoor area.
