About Grizzly Snow Grip
Grizzly Snow Grip GmbH, based in Oelsnitz/Vogtland, is a manufacturing company and producer of the patented GRIZZLY SNOW GRIP anti-skid chain system for commercial vehicles, especially for fire departments and disaster relief. The system combines a starting aid and snow chain: a patented rim ring made of stainless steel is placed into the rim flange before the winter season; individual chain strands made of high-tempered, case-hardened 8.2 mm square-link chains can be quickly fitted over the wheel when needed – even when the vehicle is stuck. The system is KBA-approved (test mark L 205, § 37 para. 1 StVZO) and covers rim sizes from 17.5 to 22.5 inches. In addition, a range of mesh chains for passenger cars, 4x4, trucks, tractors and heavy machinery as well as forestry chains, traction belts (greenTRACK) and shoe chains is offered; the forestry program comes from the long-standing partnership with the Slovenian manufacturer VERIGA K.F., d.o.o. Customers include fleets, municipalities, fire departments, disaster relief organizations and the waste management and utility industries. The products are distributed via the company's own online shop and on the world market.
