The Groen und Janssen GmbH Kunststoffvertrieb (brand GroJa®) is an East Frisian family business based in Südbrookmerland (district of Georgsheil), which evolved from a timber wholesale founded in 1962. The company develops and produces products for home, garden and terrace: wind and privacy protection fencing systems, decking boards (including co-extrusion of the GroJaQuattro board series), roof and facade profiles, tongue-and-groove profiles, hollow-chamber battens, rigid foam angles and panels, wind springs, raised beds and custom-made insect screens. Manufacturing uses plastic, composite material with bamboo (BPC), aluminium, glass and HPL; through the GroJa Oberflächentechnik division, vehicle, industrial, special and custom painting as well as dent removal technology are offered, alongside powder coating of aluminium. Distribution is handled via specialist trade partners, supplemented by an own vehicle fleet with delivery service within Germany and to neighboring countries. At the headquarters at Gewerbestrasse 16, 150 employees work in production, warehousing and sales; in 2024 an additional property at Gewerbestrasse 11 was acquired, on which, among other things, a production hall for powder coating is planned.

Founded as a timber wholesale by Johannes Groen and Hinrich Janssen; from this the Groen und Janssen GmbH Kunststoffvertrieb (brand GroJa®) developed.
