About Gross Funk
Since 1980, Gross Funk GmbH has been developing and producing radio remote controls for professional and safety-critical applications on cranes, machinery and other wireless systems. The family-owned company with more than 60 employees sees itself as a high-tech manufacturer in the heart of the Palatinate and covers the entire spectrum in-house, from hardware and software engineering through production to assembly. The product portfolio includes radio transmitters in console, compact and handheld designs, receivers in die-cast aluminium or DIN-rail versions, cable control systems, ATEX control devices for explosive atmospheres (Zone 2/22), stage trolleys, and the self-developed transflective GF BestView display. Special systems are individually customised: colour options, marking by engraving or printing, display configuration and custom-made enclosures from our own 3D printing. The radio systems come standard with redundant emergency stop, dual data evaluation, monitored safety channels and the secure data transmission GROCOM 128. Fields of application are agriculture and forestry, stage technology, industry, construction as well as offshore and shipbuilding; the products are used worldwide.
