About GROSS
GROSS develops and manufactures shredders and briquette presses for processing residual wood, plastics and paper. The portfolio includes single-shaft shredders of the GAZ and GAZK series, horizontal single-shaft shredders (GHZ) for long residual wood, and low-noise four-shaft shredders (GZ) for continuous material feed. With briquette presses such as the GP 80 and GP 400 Z, wood dust, sawdust, planer shavings and wood chips are compacted into dimensionally stable briquettes. The machines process solid wood, MDF, OSB, chipboard and plywood panels, battens, squared timbers, veneers, multiplex, as well as plastics and paper. Customers come from carpentry workshops, timber construction companies, sawmills, the wood industry and recycling, including Godelmann, Jäger Ausbau, Hörmann and EGGER. GROSS also plans holistic residual wood solutions from the stand-alone machine to fully automated lines including conveying technology and energy consulting. Founded in Crailsheim in 1989, the brand has been based in Ilsfeld, Baden-Württemberg, since 2008 and today belongs to WEIMA Maschinenbau GmbH.
