Groß GmbH Stahlbau, based in Ludwigshafen am Rhein, is a specialized company for steel, component and mechanical engineering. Its portfolio includes the construction of medium and large steel halls, staircase and plant structures as well as pedestrian, road and railway bridges, including projects for Deutsche Bahn. In component and mechanical engineering, the company manufactures parts in steel, metal and aluminium in single-unit and series production, from turned and milled parts to fixtures and gauges through to finished mechanical engineering components. The processes range from rolling, punching, bending and flame cutting to special welding. Project work begins with preliminary, design and execution planning including static and dynamic calculations and CAD planning; manufacturing is partly carried out by qualified partner companies (DIN EN 1090-1 and -2, EXC 3), supplemented by pre-assembly at the works and on-site assembly. Customers come from industrial construction, infrastructure and the automotive industry.
