About Großmann Lasertechnik

Großmann Lasertechnik GmbH is a German manufacturer of industrial marking lasers based in Rüthen, North Rhine-Westphalia. The company develops and manufactures fiber lasers (1064 nm), UV lasers (355 nm) and CO2 lasers (10600 nm) for the non-contact marking of metal, plastic, glass and organic materials. The product range comprises three series – the Integra integration laser, the fully enclosed Class 1 laser Gravis and the large-format laser GLX500 – as well as customer-specific special-purpose machines with robot loading, rotary axes, camera systems and PLC integration. In addition, the company offers contract marking from a single piece, including DataMatrix codes, QR codes, serial numbers, logos and nameplates. Target industries include mechanical and plant engineering, medical technology (UDI marking), automotive, electronics, toolmaking/carbide and the jewelry industry. More than 500 laser systems are in operation worldwide; service, training in German and English, and spare parts are offered for at least ten years.

Lasers & Materials

FL 1064 nm

Fiber laser / MOPA (20–120 W)

First choice for metals such as stainless steel, steel, aluminum, brass, titanium and carbide; with MOPA also colored markings on stainless steel.

UV 355 nm

UV laser

Cold marking without thermal stress for plastics, glass, sapphire, ceramics, printed circuit boards and medical technology components.

CO2 10600 nm

CO2 laser

Marks and cuts organic materials such as wood, leather, cardboard, textiles, acrylic glass and natural stone.

Al

Aluminum (incl. anodized)

High-contrast marking and codes; on anodized aluminum by bleaching the surface layer.

Edelstahl

Stainless steel

Corrosion-resistant annealing marking without surface damage, e.g. for surgical instruments.

HM

Carbide (tungsten carbide)

Crack-resistant marking of indexable inserts and tools, including layer ablation on PVD/CVD coatings.

Ti

Titanium & titanium alloys

Annealing marking and engraving for medical technology and industrial components.

Edelmetalle

Gold, silver, platinum

Fine jewelry engraving and personalization; cutting of thin precious metal sheets up to approx. 1 mm.

Kunststoff

Plastics (PE, PP, ABS, PC, PA, POM, PMMA, PEEK)

Marking by carbonization or foaming, with fiber or UV laser.

Glas/Keramik

Glass, quartz glass, sapphire, ceramics

Gentle UV marking without thermal stress on the workpiece.
