Grotefeld GmbH, based in Espelkamp, develops, manufactures and maintains precise machining units and CNC aggregate heads for machining wood, plastics, aluminium, steel, stone, gypsum/cement materials as well as composite and fibre-reinforced plastics (GRP/carbon). The portfolio includes multifunctional CNC aggregate heads, drilling units, milling units, drilling and milling spindles, angle heads, angle saw heads, multi-spindle drilling gearboxes, tracing spindles and thread-cutting units. In addition to the product range, the company offers individual planning and development of special tools including prototype construction and material testing, commissioning, maintenance as well as repair and spare parts delivery. With an in-house production depth of over 90 percent, design (3D-CAD), CNC manufacturing and assembly are all carried out entirely in-house. Customers are machine manufacturers and end users from industries such as the wood and furniture industry, mechanical and plant engineering, automotive, aerospace, and the printing, paper and packaging industries. Founded in 1963, the GmbH supplies end users worldwide.
