Reliable. Innovative. Since 1946.
Groth Feinwerktechnik GmbH & Co. KG is a family business founded in 1946, now run by the third generation, with 120 employees in Schenefeld near Hamburg. The company manufactures fine-mechanical components by CNC turning with up to 12 axes (slide and Swiss-type turning principles) as well as CNC milling in simultaneous 3-, 4- and 5-axis operation, including freeform surfaces. In addition, the company offers spur gear toothing (module 0.2–2.0, quality 6), 3D-printed plastic prototypes, laser marking, and series assembly of complex assemblies and electromechanical devices. Machined materials are aluminium, stainless steel, titanium, copper, brass, bronze and plastic, in small to medium lot sizes. Alongside contract manufacturing, the sister company Groth Luftfahrt- und Systemtechnik develops and distributes its own products such as valves and fittings made of stainless steel for the aircraft water system; every Airbus carries up to 50 assemblies from the Groth Group on board. Customers come from aviation and medical technology. The site, occupied in 2012, comprises over 3500 m² of office and production space with vibration-damping floors and energy-saving facilities.
