About the Azurea Group
The Azurea Group is an independent group of companies in the Swiss Jura with over 110 years of experience in precision machining. It manufactures components and sub-assemblies for mechanical watch movements (barrels, gear trains, ball bearings, chronograph and complication functions) as well as microtechnical and medical components and systems. The processes include CNC turning and milling up to Ø 45 mm, wire EDM, stamping and progressive stamping, bending, surface treatment (shot peening, sandblasting, tumble finishing, passivation, laser engraving) and assembly in an ISO-5 cleanroom. Materials are mainly steel and ceramic (ceramic balls). The Group supplies watch manufacturers, medical technology, the automotive, food and aerospace industries. It is represented by several SA companies in Moutier, Bévilard, Court and Belprahon as well as a production site in Moreira (Portugal) and a sales presence in Melville, NY (USA).
