About Groupe Minoteries SA
Groupe Minoteries SA (GMSA) is a Swiss milling group headquartered in Granges-près-Marnand (Canton of Vaud). Founded in 1885 in Geneva, the company processes and markets cereals and plant-based raw materials that originate predominantly from Swiss agriculture. Its core activity is the milling of bread grain and thus flour production; in addition, the group develops recipes and branded products for customers through its laboratories and test bakeries. Via its subsidiary Protaneo SA, it produces plant-based, protein-rich products such as plant-based minced and plant-based sliced alternatives made from regionally grown field beans and yellow peas. The nationally active group comprises seven production facilities, employs around 250 staff (FTE) and generated net sales of CHF 145 million in 2024. As the only Swiss milling group, it is listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange and is a member of the Dachverband Schweizerischer Müller (DSM), the Swiss millers' umbrella association. Its customers come from the bakery trade, gastronomy, the food industry as well as retail and wholesale.
