Development and Variety

Grumbach und Petermann GmbH (GUP) is a family business founded in 1989, based in Harsewinkel in East Westphalia and specialised in the complete paper recycling process. The company develops and manufactures the patented mechanical non-stop sorting system PaperSpike® for separating paper and cardboard (throughput 6–12 t/h depending on the variant), gripper systems for recycling containers, conveyor and feeding technology as well as custom-made steel and plant construction. Production takes place in a 2,200 m² factory hall at the Harsewinkel site with its own metalworking shop, turning shop, milling shop and painting hall; in the area of contract manufacturing, machining (turning, drilling, milling, grinding), sheet metal bending work and painting services are offered. Customers include companies from paper and recyclables recycling, agricultural technology and domestic industry, including Papyrus, Smurfit Kappa, SSI Schäfer and CLAAS. The PaperSpike® is in use at recycling companies worldwide.
