The Grundstücks- und Gebäudewirtschafts-Gesellschaft m.b.H. (GGG) is a housing and service company based in Chemnitz. The group comprises several subsidiaries, including wiC – Die Vermieter der GGG (residential letting of around 25,000 apartments), the Röhrsdorfer Wohnungsbauförderungsgesellschaft mbH (RWF) with property management, caretaker services and its own in-house trades division with more than 70 employees for value-preserving, repair and refurbishment services, as well as the KommunalBau Chemnitz GmbH (KBC) founded in 2019 as an in-house company for municipal construction projects of the City of Chemnitz, especially in the school and day-care centre sector. The range of services also includes commercial letting (retail, gastronomy, office, medical practice), holiday apartments, facility management, urban and project development, property developer projects, renovation and modernisation as well as equipping residential buildings with photovoltaic systems. Simone Kalew has been Managing Director of the group since July 2005. The GGG was first certified as a family-friendly employer in 2012 and received the Handelsblatt seal of quality Beste Ausbilder (Best Training Company) in 2025.
