Grunwald & Grunwald is a partnership for architecture and urban planning founded in 2000, based in Leipzig. The GbR, whose partners are Angelika Grunwald and Prof. Matthias Grunwald, provides architects' services ranging from concept development and competition and procedure support to design and realization. The range of services includes urban planning, framework and development planning, urban development concepts, master planning, refurbishment and heritage-compliant restoration, as well as open space planning. Projects include high-rise residential buildings, daycare centers, schools, sports halls, administrative buildings, stadium buildings and neighborhood planning, among others for Leipziger Stadtwerke. In the Competitionline ranking for urban planning/urban design, the office reached 12th place in 2024 among around 4,600 offices in Germany. In 2025 it was a prize winner in the urban design ideas competition Östliches Bahnhofsumfeld Wünsdorf in Zossen.
