Grupo IDESA is a Mexican industrial group headquartered in Ciudad de México that specializes in the production, storage, distribution and transformation of hydrocarbons and petrochemicals. The group's structure integrates four business units: petrochemicals (including the subsidiaries Novidesa, SOSA and Cyplus as well as the Braskem-Idesa joint venture), chemical distribution with ten sales branches, specialized logistics with its own maritime terminal and EXCELLENSE Sea & Land Logistics, and application-oriented business solutions. With more than 1,000 employees, the company ranks among the large corporate groups in the country and supplies strategic production sectors in Mexico as well as international markets. The group conducts research and development at three Centros de Desarrollo Tecnológico (CDT) in Coatzacoalcos, Irapuato and Tlalnepantla, covering product, process and analytics development. Since its integration into Grupo Carso, the company has been positioned on a stabilized platform.
