Gruppo AB (AB) is an Italian provider of energy sustainability solutions headquartered in Orzinuovi (Province of Brescia). For over 40 years, the company has been planning, manufacturing, installing and maintaining turnkey energy plants, and today is active in 22 countries. The manufacturing portfolio comprises combined heat and power (CHP) plants based on natural gas, sewage gas and biogas (ECOMAX® product line) as well as systems for upgrading biogas to biomethane/RNG. At the plant in Orzinuovi, which covers more than 40,000 m² — the group's industrial hub with engineering, service and management structures — the entire production cycle of a plant is carried out, supported by an automatic warehouse. AB serves, among others, hospitals, the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, wastewater treatment plants, agriculture, greenhouses and data centers; reference customers include Pfizer, ALPLA/PLASCO and Intergrow Greenhouse. Sales in North America are handled by the subsidiary AB Energy USA, based in The Woodlands, Texas.
