About GS-Valve Engineering

GS-Valve Engineering GmbH, based in Oberhausen, is a manufacturer of special high-pressure valves qualified to ISO 9001:2015 and PED 2014/68/EU (Module H1), in particular HP/LP turbine bypass systems (Turbine Bypass Systems) as well as control and shut-off valves. The products are aimed at the power industry, steam power plants and the process industry. The product range includes HP bypass valves (Type DSV), LP bypass valves, preheater bypass systems (COV/QCV), desuperheater valves with labyrinth trims as well as gate valves with Stellite-hardened seat surfaces. In addition to its standard range, the company develops customer-specific special valves and supports the design process with finite element calculations (FEA/FEM). The valves are adapted to customer piping as globe, angle or Z-pattern versions and are supplied with pneumatic, hydraulic or electric actuators. In terms of materials, unalloyed and low- to high-alloy steels as well as forged steels to DIN/EN or ANSI are used. An aftermarket service identifies spare parts, including for valves from third-party OEM manufacturers whose OEM no longer supplies them.
