About GSA
GSA Gesellschaft zur Sanierung von Altlasten mbH is a company specialized in hazardous-substance remediation, headquartered in Neu-Isenburg with a branch office in Berlin-Spandau. The company removes asbestos-containing adhesives, magnesia screeds, and wall and ceiling coatings using three of its own low-emission methods approved by IFA (BGIA): the BT 17.1 grinding method, the BT 18.4 milling method, and the BT 53 blasting method. Further service areas include remediation of artificial mineral fibers (KMF) as well as PAH-, PCP- and PCB-contaminated materials, mold and pigeon dropping remediation, decontamination, and legally compliant disposal as a certified waste management specialist company pursuant to § 56 KrWG. In addition, GSA offers consulting and remediation concepts with expertise under TRGS 519, 521 and 524, as well as the development and sale of remediation equipment such as blast shields, suction boxes and water filtration systems. The work is carried out nationwide in apartments, office and school buildings, halls and industrial facilities.

Quality and Approvals
GSA works according to the Technical Rules for Hazardous Substances (TRGS 519, 521, 524) and, under the Hazardous Substances Ordinance (GefStoffV), is approved for demolition and remediation work involving even weakly bound asbestos. The GSA methods have been tested by IFA (BGIA) for efficiency, occupational safety and environmental compatibility, and the extracted air is filtered through self-cleaning cyclone separators.
