About GTS Flexible Materials

GTS Flexible Materials Ltd. is a manufacturer of flexible composite materials founded in 1967 in Great Britain, independent and owner-managed since 1977. The company develops and manufactures flexible laminates, adhesive-coated tapes and materials as well as insulating films, which are used among other things in passenger car headlamps, medical diagnostic equipment, power converters for renewable energies and transport applications. In addition to manufacturing, GTS offers the design and development of adhesive systems and supports customers from the concept and design phase through to series production. Annual production capacity is around 4 million square metres of laminate and insulating films; 90 % of products are exported, primarily to Europe, Asia and the USA. Production takes place at the Ebbw Vale site in Wales; a worldwide sales network also includes a sales office in Germany. For customer programmes with requirements for halogen-free flame retardants, the halogen-free dielectric product line GTS3490 was developed.
