About Guarniflon
Guarniflon S.p.A., headquartered in Castelli Calepio (Bergamo), is an Italian manufacturer of products made from PTFE and other fluoropolymers. The group comprises 14 companies, 4 divisions, and a joint venture, supplying customers in 73 countries. The manufacturing range extends from extruded and moulded PTFE tubes and rods, through moulded and skived sheets, to high-performance films and tapes made from ETFE, FEP, PVDF, THV, PFA, and MFA. From semi-finished products, custom-machined finished parts such as backup rings, O-rings, guide bands, threaded seals, and parts of the SC seal series are produced, manufactured to customer drawings on CNC and automatic lathes. With its own process, Guarniflon offers cementing (surface defluorination/etching) to make PTFE bondable. The R&D department has developed over 250 PTFE compounds, some patented, partly in cooperation with Italian universities. Key sales industries are automotive, aerospace, food contact, and hydraulics and sealing technology. In addition to its headquarters in Castelli Calepio (Via Torquato Tasso 12), the company operates production sites in Castelli Calepio (Via Aldo Moro 80/82) and Ospitaletto (Flontech Division).

The quality management system operates in accordance with ISO 9001 (since 1993) and IATF 16949:2016. Four laboratories with over 30 testing instruments (including SEM, DSC/TGA, GC/MS, tribometer) perform around 20,000 analyses per year; finished parts are automatically sorted 100% with DOSS optical inspection machines (SPC, FMEA, PPAP).
