About Guarniflon
Founded in 1982, Guarniflon processes PTFE resins and other fluoropolymers into semi-finished products and finished parts for industrial applications. At the Italian headquarters in Castelli Calepio (BG), extruded and moulded tubes and rods, moulded and skived PTFE sheets up to 1500 x 1500 mm, high-performance films (PTFE, FEP, PFA, ETFE, PVDF, THV, MFA) in widths up to 2000 mm and thicknesses of 12 to 300 micrometers, as well as finished parts such as valve seats, piston rings, O-rings and back-up rings are produced on CNC machines and automatic lathes. Through the Flontech compounding unit, more than 250 filled PTFE compounds are available, filled inter alia with carbon, graphite, bronze, glass fibre, PEEK or stainless steel 316L. In-house etching lines enable one-sided or two-sided etched surfaces for bonding. The Italian headquarters, subsidiaries in Germany (Guarniflon GmbH, Jüchen), France, the United Kingdom and Spain, plus further divisions, supply customers in 73 countries, including from aerospace, automotive, chemicals, oil hydraulics, bridge construction and the food industry. Production of finished parts to drawing is certified to IATF 16949:2016.

Quality
Since 1993, Guarniflon has operated according to ISO 9001; in addition, production of PTFE parts to drawing has been certified to IATF 16949:2016 since 2021. Four laboratories equipped with over 30 instruments (including SEM, DSC, TGA, OGP, tribometer) perform around 20,000 analyses per year; finished parts are 100% automatically optically sorted before shipping (DOSS, SPC).
