GUBBEMED International GmbH is a German medical device manufacturer headquartered in Biesenthal near Berlin. The family-owned company develops, manufactures and installs LED surgical and examination lights including spring arms, central axes and ceiling mounts as well as operating tables in electro-hydraulic, electro-mechanical and manual-hydraulic versions. In addition, the company produces and installs LED floodlight systems for football stadiums and other sports facilities, for both indoor and outdoor use. The entire value chain—from design and industrial design through its own test laboratory to assembly—takes place at the Biesenthal site; the main mechanical components of the operating tables are made from medically suitable stainless steel. In addition to products, GUBBEMED offers turnkey equipment for complete operating suites, intensive care units and emergency rooms, including modular room systems. Through branches in Europe, Asia and Australia, the company serves customers worldwide; its products come with a five-year factory warranty.
