About WEIGLA
Günter Gläser Leuchtenherstellung e.K. was founded in 2002 by owner Günter Gläser in Deutschneudorf in the Erzgebirge. The aim was to manufacture Schwibbögen, i.e. light arches, in the old tradition once again, combining Erzgebirge craftsmanship with decades of tradition. Under the “Weigla” brand, motif luminaires are created for trade fair and exhibition spaces, hotels, restaurants and bars as well as for private living areas. Since 2012, Rene Weinhold and Günter Gläser have been developing novel creations from the combination of wood and Plexiglas®, which as Plexiglas luminaires® present timeless and elegant motifs all year round. The company manufactures both traditionally handed-down forms and modern design, designs and produces all products in its own workshop and sells them through its own factory outlet. In addition, the company offers custom design for individual projects.
