About KRAIBURG Elastik
Gummiwerk KRAIBURG Elastik GmbH & Co. KG has been developing and producing elastic rubber barn flooring for livestock husbandry at its Tittmoning site since 1968. The product range includes resting-area and mattress systems, walking-surface flooring, slatted-floor coverings and special surfaces for dairy cows, calves, fattening cattle, pigs and horses. The heart of production is a proprietary recycling process: buffings from tire retreading are processed into high-quality rubber compounds, approximately 35,000 tonnes per year – equivalent to about 7.5 million passenger car tires. Production is carried out by vulcanization on stall-mat presses, LongLine production lines for rolled mats (up to 35 m in length, 180 cm in width) and high-pressure waterjet cutting at over 3,500 bar for custom-made products. With more than 200 employees and an annual capacity of 2.5 million m² (as of 2017), KRAIBURG Elastik supplies dealer networks in more than 70 countries. Quality, energy and environmental management are certified according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 50001.

Products are tested in the in-house laboratory and in test barns and certified by the DLG (quality seal "Continuously Tested", PAH test according to DIN 3762). Compliance with DIN 3763 for elastic barn flooring is documented; many products are approved by the authority for species-appropriate animal husbandry in Austria.

Takeover of the Wöhl company by the KRAIBURG Group and founding of Gummiwerk KRAIBURG Elastik GmbH in Tittmoning; start of elastomer sheet production with 10 employees and a new recycling process for tire retreading buffings.
- 1972
Commissioning of the first production facility "Press 1"; start of stall-mat production.
- 1976
The KRAIBURG slatted-frame mat becomes the first stall mat to be "DLG-recognized".

Commissioning of the "Stall-mat press 9" with over 600,000 m² production capacity per year.
