Gummiwerk Meuselwitz GmbH is an owner-managed family business in the Central German metropolitan region with a tradition of more than 100 years as a rubber manufacturer, operated as a GmbH continuously in private ownership since 1991. On a plant site of approx. 15,000 m² in Meuselwitz, the company manufactures for more than 1,000 customers from industries such as automotive, medical, mechanical engineering, sanitary, food and electrical engineering. The product portfolio comprises hose rings, hose sections, hose cylinders, flat gaskets and seals, molded hoses, cords and cord rings, rubber profiles, profile frames, profile lengths, buffer profiles, molded articles as well as foam rubber profiles, frames and molded parts, supplemented by custom-made products and customer-specific product developments. An in-house raw-material operation for the production of its own rubber compounds, equipped with a computer-controlled 60-liter kneader, two mills connected in series (1500×550 mm), a dry batch-off system and a chemical weighing station, ensures seamless production. All process steps from rubber extrusion through vulcanization to cutting, grinding and assembly are integrated into the system; an in-house laboratory performs quality inspection.
