About GUMO

GUMO Technische Gummi-Formartikel GmbH is a family-run manufacturer of technical rubber moulded parts based in Geesthacht and, since 1975, has produced custom moulded articles made to drawing, sample or sketch – from components weighing less than one gram to large-format moulded parts weighing several kilograms. The range of services covers rubber moulded parts, rubber-to-metal bonds, rubber-to-plastic bonds, moulded parts made from thermosetting plastics (SMC/BMC) as well as moulded parts made from perfluoro rubber (FFKM), supplemented by the assembly of components and sub-assemblies. Production is carried out using Compression Moulding, Transfer Moulding, Injection Moulding and Injection Transfer Moulding on presses and injection moulding machines with clamping forces of 1,000 to 4,600 kN; the typical hardness range of the elastomers processed is between 25 and 85 Shore A. Customer industries include the automotive industry, plant and mechanical engineering, the electrical and electrical appliance industry, shipbuilding, pipeline technology, railway construction as well as agricultural, building and medical technology. Quality management has been certified since 1995, currently to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. In addition to its headquarters in Geesthacht, the company has operated the Tangermünde site (dGw Gummiwerke AG) since 2007.
