Corporate Philosophy
Gumpp - Energie GmbH & Co. KG is a family company founded in 1929, now in its third generation, headquartered in Gemünden am Main. The company trades in heating oil and fuels as well as lubricants, delivering them regionally with a modern fleet of tank trucks. The product range also includes wood pellets in bulk and bagged goods; loading is carried out via a low-pressure blow-in system with dust screening to reduce abrasion. The wood pellets are certified according to ENplus-A1, DINplus and ÖNORM M 7135, and the domestic softwoods used carry a sustainability certification under PEFC or FSC. As a Shell brand partner, Gumpp has been awarded the "Shell geprüft – Qualität und Sicherheit" (Shell tested – Quality and Safety) seal for quality as well as health, occupational, plant and environmental protection. The company headquarters in Gemünden's industrial estate comprise a mineral oil transloading facility with a liquid-tight loading area and underfloor filling; the buildings were constructed using timber frame construction with a photovoltaic system. The offering is complemented by a self-service car wash on Hofweg and personal advice on energy matters.
