Gustav Hensel GmbH & Co. KG, headquartered in Lennestadt, develops and manufactures systems for electrical installation and low-voltage power distribution. The product range includes cable junction boxes (ENYCASE), small distribution boards (ENYBOARD), distribution boards up to 250 A (ENYSTAR), power distribution boards up to 630 A (ENYMOD) as well as empty enclosures according to IEC 62208 (ENYFLEX), cable entry systems (ENYFIT) and accessories such as cable glands. Manufacturing comprises plastic injection moulding with thermoplastic polycarbonate, sheet metal processing in steel, stainless steel and aluminium including surface coating, as well as the assembly of customised low-voltage switchgear assemblies according to IEC 61439 up to 1,000 A. Products are used in dusty, humid and other demanding environments in industry, commerce, infrastructure as well as energy and utility technology, increasingly also for photovoltaics and e-mobility. The family-owned company employs more than 1,000 staff, of whom 640 are in Germany, and maintains production sites in Lennestadt, Kirchhundem, Siegen and Grimma as well as in Sriperumbudur (India). All German sites are certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015; in addition, management systems according to ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 are in place.
