About MAGURA
Gustav Magenwirth GmbH & Co. KG, under the MAGURA brand, develops and manufactures hydraulic and mechanical brake systems, mechanical actuation systems, seatposts as well as technical injection-molded parts and assemblies for bicycles, e-bikes, cargo bikes and motorcycles. Founded in 1893 and headquartered in Bad Urach, the company manufactures its in-house developed materials Carbotecture and Carbotecture SL as well as technical plastic parts at its main plant in Hülben. At the Hengen plant, around 130 employees produce bicycle brakes, motorcycle components and industrial parts. The company includes subsidiaries in the USA (MAGURA Direct, Illinois) and Asia. With around 680 employees (as of 2022), the group generated revenue of 181.7 Mio. € in 2021.
