About Gustav Obermeyer
Gustav Obermeyer is a German manufacturer of automatic filling systems and packaging machines for the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, chemical and food industries. Founded in 1889, the independent company from Plauen specialises in modular tube filling machines, bottle fillers and jar filling machines as well as precisely tailored complete lines based on a modular construction system. Design and engineering, in-house CNC and conventional production, assembly and service are all located under one roof at the Plauen site (Mühlstraße). Machines are built in hygiene-compliant stainless steel for sensitive products; as a special machine builder, the company also develops customised machines for tubes, bottles, jars and special containers. Since 1945, more than 1,200 filling and capping machines have been delivered worldwide. The range of services extends from consulting and process optimisation through engineering, manufacturing and on-site commissioning to maintenance and repair.
