About us

GUSTAV WOLFF Maschinenfabrik GmbH, founded in Solingen in 1936, is a specialized mechanical engineering company for hot and cold forming of metals. The company manufactures new machines – presses with force ranges of 250 to 15,000 kN as well as belt-type and top-drive hammers – whose components come from in-house production and whose purchased parts are sourced exclusively from German suppliers. In addition to new machine building, the company offers retrofitting, repairs, partial refurbishments and complete overhauls of presses and forming machines as well as the remanufacture of new spare parts. The single-part manufacturing encompasses eccentric shafts, spindles and nuts, drive shafts, feed rolls, welded constructions, gear components and turned and milled parts in a wide dimensional range. The service portfolio is complemented by manufacturer-independent maintenance and press inspection in accordance with UVV + EN, on-site machining with mobile machining machines, and an in-house control technology department (PILZ, Siemens, Bosch-Rexroth, Sütron). The work of design, manufacturing and control technology is directed at the metalworking industry.
