GUT GRUPPE UMWELT + TECHNIK GMBH is an engineering consultancy for technical environmental protection that has been based in Linz since 1995. The team of geologists, hydrogeologists, civil and cultural engineers and experts in environmental engineering, waste management and soil science covers the specialist fields of geology and hydrogeology, civil and water management as well as waste management and contaminated site remediation. The service portfolio includes exploratory drillings and excavations, sampling and analysis, contaminated site investigation with hazard assessment, remediation planning and remediation supervision, landfill planning and landfill supervision, excavation and demolition management, pollutant and nuisance substance investigation as well as hydrogeological expert reports and baseline condition reports. As an accredited inspection body under EN ISO/IEC 17020 Type A, the company carries out waste assessments in accordance with the Landfill Ordinance. Fieldwork is carried out by qualified personnel using the company's own equipment; for chemical analyses, cooperations exist with accredited laboratories. Clients include public authorities, water suppliers, the construction industry, waste disposal companies as well as industry and commerce; since its founding, more than 5,000 projects have been completed throughout Austria and in neighbouring countries.
