About Gut Neuhof

Gut Neuhof is a family-run farm in Überlingen-Bambergen on Lake Constance, specialising in turkey rearing and fattening. The animals are kept in barns with winter gardens modelled on Swiss examples, fed with GMO-free feed from day 1 and raised without antibiotics for years. Processing takes place in the farm's own EU-certified slaughterhouse (EU approval DE-BW72044-EG) by trained butchers; since a fire, slaughtering is currently carried out by partner businesses. The product range includes turkey meat, sausage and ham products as well as BARF pet food (approval DE 08 435 0001 13), supplemented by organic meat from regional partners. Direct marketing runs via the online shop operated since 2017 with chilled shipping to Germany and Austria, as well as via retail, wholesale and weekly markets in the Lake Constance region. The farm is run by the Plessing family in its third and fourth generation; the KG was founded in 2020.
