About Schloss Neuenhof
The estate management of Schloss Neuenhof operates a baroque moated castle in the Elspe valley south of Lüdenscheid. The complex, whose origins date back to the 14th century, is an important architectural and cultural monument of the region and has been sustained and preserved by sustainable forest management for 20 generations. Operations include forestry with hunting as well as agriculture. Since 2019, the family Graf von dem Bussche-Kessell has run the estate with a diverse programme of events and culture as well as holidays at the castle. The interior of the castle cannot be visited, as the complex is inhabited by the owner.
