About guut
Guut is a Vienna manufactory for sleeping and living room furniture that has existed since 1999 and has operated under the name guut since 2013. At the core of production are made-to-measure mattresses and individually crafted solid wood beds made from domestic hardwoods such as maple, brown ash, oak, elm, cherry and walnut. The furniture is manufactured largely metal-free and relies on screwless wooden plug-in connections, with which guut continues an old craft tradition. Production takes place together with established carpentry businesses such as the Möbelwerkstatt Füchsl, where trained journeymen produce the furniture from cutting to assembly. Guut places value on natural materials, pollutant-free surfaces, regional sourcing and climate-friendly, regional production; with the finiix furniture line, the company claims to offer Austria's first CO2-negative furniture line. The products are sold in the Schauraum Store Vienna on Gumpendorfer Straße with personal consultation in German and English, and delivered to Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Liechtenstein.
