History
- 1986
Founded as a small private company; started as an authorized representative for meteorological measurement technology in the German-speaking region, first partnership with R.M. Young Company from Michigan.
- 1990er
Expansion of the meteorology portfolio (precipitation, temperature, air pressure, visibility); established as a permanent supplier for weather services, universities and research institutions.
- 1999
Certification to ISO 9001.
- 2000er
Entry into wind energy: consulting, sensor technology and system integration for onshore and offshore projects.
- 2002
Ludwig Wagner becomes managing partner; Michael Hein joins the company.
- 2010er
LiDAR remote sensing becomes the second pillar; remote sensing systems are spun off into their own business unit.
- 2017
Michael Hein is appointed managing partner.
- 2025
Michael Hein's focus is on strategic and organizational tasks of corporate development.
