About GWV
GWV Wertstoffvermarktungs GmbH is an Austrian, family-owned company based in Hörsching near Linz, specialising in the processing and trading of waste paper raw materials. Founded in 2001 as a pure waste paper trading company, its range of services today includes the acceptance and processing of commercial and industrial paper waste, sorting according to the EN 643 grade list including special grades and 2A qualities, the processing of paper rolls, and customised disposal concepts. At the Hörsching site covering 20,000 m² (of which around 2,000 m² is an operating hall), around 500 tonnes of waste paper can be processed daily; in total the company markets approximately 150,000 tonnes of waste paper annually, more than half of which passes through the refining process in Hörsching. The machine park includes two channel balers, a sorting plant with a BRT bale breaker, shredders and roll splitting systems with a band saw, guillotine and reel-edge saw for all roll sizes. In addition to Europe-wide import and export of recyclable materials, the company maintains subsidiaries in Budapest (Hungária Papír Recycling Kft., Reisswolf Budapest Kft.) and in Lehnice in Slovakia (GWV Slovakia s.r.o.).
