H. Scheffel GmbH, based in Erkelenz, has been manufacturing precise plastic engineered parts for mechanical and plant engineering as well as the pharmaceutical industry, medical technology, electronics, packaging and food industries since 1973. Manufacturing includes cutting of blanks, CNC machining of individual parts and small to medium series, conventional machining, and bending, forming and bonding of transparent plastics such as PMMA, ABS, PS and PVC. In addition, assemblies are mounted, including standard and complex metal components, and completed with finishing such as polishing, printing and laser engraving. Quality assurance is carried out in two stages, with inspection of material, dimensions, surface finish and optical quality. The company supplies customers in Central Europe, Switzerland, Asia and the USA and is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001 as well as an Authorised Economic Operator (AEO-F).

All manufacturing orders undergo a two-stage quality control: inspection of conformity to the drawing with respect to material, dimensions and surface finish, followed by an optical quality inspection.
