About the company
H. SCHMIDT e.K. Präzisionstechnik was founded in 1919 in Zella-Mehlis (Thuringia) and has been manufacturing in Heidenheim-Oggenhausen (Baden-Württemberg) since 1948. The original production program comprised single-barrel shotguns, small-caliber rifles and air pistols. Today, the focus is on the production and distribution of parts and accessories for hunting and sporting weapons as well as the manufacture of supplier parts for customers in Germany and abroad operating in the fields of weapons technology, precision mechanics, optics and medical technology. Machining is carried out on conventional and CNC-controlled machines; milled parts with a maximum part size of 250 × 150 × 150 mm are produced in small and medium batches. In addition to the standard program, custom-made products according to customer drawings are offered, including hunting weapon parts made to drawing as well as sling swivels in special sizes. For about 20 years, the company has been supplying mechanical engineering companies and the optical industry with precision parts made to drawing.
