About H2APEX
H2APEX Group SCA is a listed developer, manufacturer and operator of green hydrogen plants with operational headquarters in Rostock-Laage. The company produces green hydrogen by electrolysis at its own Laage site and develops decentralized standard plants (5-MW PEM electrolyzers) for industry, mobility and infrastructure. Its services include EPC services (development, planning, construction), operation and maintenance as well as hydrogen production and distribution. In the field of storage technology, the subsidiary HydroExceed manufactures carbon-fiber-reinforced Type IV pressure gas storage vessels rated for 500 bar in series production; the subsidiary AKROS Energy is developing a chemical, pressure-free hydrogen storage based on salt (TRL 6, 7 patents). The Group's plants serve the decarbonization of energy-intensive sectors such as steel, chemicals and cement as well as infrastructure for heavy-duty transport, ports and production sites. The Group comprises 15 consolidated companies and employs around 150 staff at the Rostock-Laage and Rostock sites.
