Systems for wastewater-free production
H2O GmbH, based in Steinen in Baden, develops and manufactures VACUDEST vacuum distillation systems for the treatment of industrial wastewater with the goal of wastewater-free production. Up to 95% of pure distillate is recovered from 100% industrial wastewater; with ZLD technology (Zero Liquid Discharge), wastewater volumes of 2,100 to 16,000 m³ per year can be covered, with the XXL series reaching up to 30,000 m³ per year. The systems treat wastewater containing oils, emulsions, salts, heavy metals, surfactants and organic compounds as well as solvents, and are used among others in surface technology, metalworking, aerospace/MRO, chemicals/pharmaceuticals, energy supply and recycling. Manufacturing takes place exclusively at the German site in Steinen; branch sites for sales and service exist in China, Poland and Switzerland, with customers in more than 50 countries. The service portfolio includes Consulting & Engineering, an application center for wastewater-free production, assembly, commissioning, Customer Care Service with remote access via the Vacutouch control system, as well as spare parts and training services.
