About haapo
HAAPO 1910 GmbH in Achenkirch on Lake Achensee has been producing high-quality handcrafted functional upholstered furniture since 1910. Originally a steam sawmill of the Maurer family, the business evolved into a furniture manufacturer that, since the Second World War, has focused exclusively on the custom production of upholstered furniture. The portfolio includes armchairs, chairs, dining sets, sofas, sofa beds, recliners, beds and tables as individual pieces and living ensembles, including special sizes, special dimensions and special models. Woodworking is CNC-supported; spruce, beech and oak are processed, sourced mainly from sawmills in Tyrol and Bavaria, along with upholstery materials such as wool and foam from the Alpine region. The furniture is used, among other things, in hotels and wellness facilities, for example at the 4-star Superior Hotel Schwarzenstein in Luttach. The site also features a showroom and a factory outlet.
