HAAS Kabeltechnik GmbH is a medium-sized cable assembly company based in Dunningen in the Schwarzwald-Baar district. For more than 20 years, the company has handled orders from the mechanical engineering, electrical industry and automotive sectors, employing around 100 staff at the Dunningen site and 50 staff in Eastern Europe. Its range of services covers the assembly of individual wires, flat ribbon cables, sheathed cables, connector assemblies, coaxial cables and special cables. The manufacturing processes used include crimping, soldering, insulation displacement connections, potting, ultrasonic welding and hotmelt. An in-house toolmaking operation with more than 300 crimping tools enables individual assembly requirements and fast order processing. In addition, HAAS Kabeltechnik supports customers in product development; the finished cable assemblies are tested and shipped directly to end customers.
