HAAS Maschinenbau GmbH is a German, family-owned company in special-purpose machine engineering with a focus on sawing technology. Since 1978, the company has designed, engineered and manufactured special machines such as swaging machines, tooth-setting machines and grinding machines for leading manufacturers of band saws, knives and circular saw blades, which are used for machining a wide variety of materials. In addition to building new machines, HAAS has been offering retrofitting for several years — the modernization, extension and conversion of existing machines and systems — as well as service, maintenance and repair, in part on-site at the customer. The powerful and extensive machine park is geared towards the manufacture of prototypes, demanding one-off parts and small series. The company is located in Remscheid in the Bergisches Land region.
