Fourth-generation family business
Haas Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG is a family business founded in 1933 and now run by the fourth generation, located in Oberkirch (Baden-Württemberg). The company manufactures turned, turn-milled and milled parts to customer drawings in single-part and small-batch production, complemented by surface grinding, welded constructions and steel construction as well as the assembly of subassemblies up to complete systems including pneumatics and hydraulics. Customers are primarily special machine builders, for whom individual parts, subassemblies or complete systems are manufactured. The range of services covers the entire production process: sawing, burning, tacking, welding, machining, heat treatment, painting (wet paint coating) and assembly. In addition, a spare parts and repair service, the VSR vibration stress relief process, crane inspections and services for sawmills are offered. The machine park comprises CNC turning, milling and grinding machines for workpieces up to 4000 mm in length or around 6 tonnes in individual weight. Production is primarily for the European market; the company is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001.
