HaBeMa Futtermittel GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1994 and is a service company on the German feed market headquartered in Hamburg-Wilhelmsburg. Its prominent location in the Port of Hamburg with deep-sea access makes the company a supraregional trading partner for feedstuffs, compound feed and grain. Its core business is compound feed production in a plant founded in 1970 and modernized several times: on three parallel mixing lines, over 400,000 tonnes of compound feed are produced annually for all agricultural livestock species – from classic standard feeds to customized recipes for individual feeding concepts. In addition, HaBeMa offers raw goods handling for import and export, trade in single feedstuffs, and its own logistics with 24-hour distribution traffic and bagged goods in 15- and 25-kg sacks for small animal keepers and hobby breeders. With the AGRO terminals in Heidenau and Drentwede, the company operates handling sites with direct rail connections to supply the agricultural trade in Saxony and the Vechta-Cloppenburg refining region.
