Since its founding in 1979, HÄMMERLING - The Tyre Company GmbH has been active in various business areas relating to tyres. As part of the Hämmerling group of companies from Paderborn-Sennelager, the company is today internationally established as a wholesaler and manufacturer of truck tyres. Its own proprietary brands are ATHOS and MÄXX (premium truck tyres, developed in Germany, manufactured in four specialised production plants in Asia, including a highly automated, partly AI-controlled factory in Vietnam) as well as the steel wheel brand TALAS. In the field of retreading, Hämmerling offers the proprietary brand SÄMM with hot and cold retreading on inspected casings. At its Paderborn site, the company bundles central warehousing, logistics and distribution for Europe and operates a tyre hotel for more than 5,000 sets of tyres. Customers include forwarding companies, fleet operators, tyre retailers and OEM partners in Germany, Europe and worldwide.

Additional services
Quality and certification
Own brands are developed according to European standards and produced under strict quality requirements; the TALAS steel wheel production is TÜV-inspected and monitored. Retreaded tyres (SÄMM) are subject to ECE 109 certification and the same quality controls as new tyres.
