About us
Härtel & Söhne Kunststoffverarbeitung GmbH, based in Lößnitz (Erzgebirge, Saxony), was founded in 1992 out of the plastics processing production division of Pirol GmbH Lößnitz and today employs 14 staff. The basis of its business is the manufacture of plastic molded parts using thermoplastic injection molding technology on a machine park with clamping forces from 15 to 400 t and a maximum shot weight of 1.5 kg. The production profile includes bobbins and winding bodies for the textile and trimmings industry, glazing blocks for window construction, holders, latches, closures and containers for the packaging industry, as well as drawing-based technical parts for machinery and equipment manufacturers, the automotive industry and medical technology. The company also manufactures plant pots for nurseries as well as buckets and containers. Production is carried out with a wide range of thermoplastics and various additives such as chalk, talc, glass fibers, glass beads, minerals, flame retardants and blowing agents as well as stabilizers. The company handles planning and design through to the finished product, working closely with toolmaking companies.
